How to Become a Member of The Indiana Association of Hostage-Crisis Negotiators

There are two ways to become a member of our Association:

  1. Pay the attendance fee and attend the IAHCN-sponsored State Negotiator’s Conference.
  2. Print and complete the membership form on this page and return it to us along with a check for $25.00.

Below you will find a reprint of Article 10 – Membership from the IAHCN By-laws.

Regular membership requires that you be a professional who is active in the law enforcement field of Hostage/Crisis Negotiations and intervention or a retired law enforcement hostage/crisis negotiator.

Associate membership requires that you demonstrate a bona fide interest in the furtherance of the profession.

All memberships are subject to verifying the above information and the information provided by you on your membership application. Applications cannot be officially accepted until such time as the Board of Directors reviews any and all applications and approves such membership. Thenceforth continued membership will require the payment of annual dues of $25.00, such dues subject to change should the members of the Association take the appropriate steps according to the By-laws.
