ARTICLE 3 - NOT FOR PROFIT PURPOSES

This corporation is organized and operated as a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation under the laws of the State of Indiana for hostage/crisis negotiation professionals, promotion of the profession, training and education of members and individuals involved or related to hostage/crisis negotiations, and other similar nonprofit purposes.

Any income received shall be applied only to the nonprofit purposes and objectives of the corporation, and no part of the income shall personally benefit any officer or director of the corporation beyond that derived by any of the members.

The corporation shall operate strictly within the requirements of the Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)(3), and the Indiana Nonprofit Corporation Act of 1991
